Political and legal experts are already contemplating who is on the short list to replace Deirdre M. Daly as Connecticut’s U.S. attorney under Donald Trump’s pending administration.

Political and legal experts told the Connecticut Law Tribune that it’s almost a guarantee Daly, a President Barack Obama appointee, will be replaced. At least eight names are already being discussed by several Connecticut attorneys. The question remains who will get the nod and what—if any—changes will occur.
