A jury in Bridgeport has rendered a defense verdict in favor of the town of Redding in a $1.5 million lawsuit filed by an intoxicated man who broke his leg jumping down from a retaining wall.

Last fall, another plaintiff sued the town for $3 million over falling over same retaining wall and sustaining a brain injury. That plaintiff was also intoxicated and the jury sided with the town.
