An attorney in the state Office of Chief Disciplinary Counsel is resigning later this month to take a position at a private law firm.

First Assistant Chief Disciplinary Counsel Suzanne Sutton will go from investigating and pursuing disciplinary action against attorneys to defending them. Her last day in her current job will be June 23. Soon after, she will take a position at Cohen and Wolf, which has offices in Bridgeport, Westport, Danbury and Orange.
