Water problems in a high-end condominium complex built on a former industrial site on Stonington Harbor led to a long-running legal dispute between residents and architects after water began leaking into the condos. In a recent decision by an arbitration panel, the architects were ordered to pay just over $5.3 million.

“This case has been a journey for us and our clients,” said Timothy Corey, of Hinckley, Allen & Snyder in Hartford. “It started with an April 2008 state court action and ended with this September 2014 arbitration win. Our clients endured water leaks and other issues throughout this time.”
