Shawn Pouliot v. Paul Arpin Van Lines, et al.: Post-verdict motions challenging a record $26.5 million jury award for commercial truck driver Shawn Pouliot urged U.S. District Court Judge Janet C. Hall to either issue a reversal as a matter of law, or declare a new trial for one of six reasons. Ruling May 17, Hall rejected the defense motions in their entirety.
