Los Angeles has morphed into a hotbed of recruiting in the past eight months as several midsized firms from the East Coast aggressively open offices.
At least seven law firms have opened or significantly expanded offices in Los Angeles in recent months: Duane Morris; Dreier; Goodwin Procter; Hunton & Williams; McGuireWoods; Steptoe & Johnson; and Venable.
