As downtown Hartford hemorrhages corporate headquarters to the suburbs, Bloomfield-based Cantor Colburn has bucked the trend and will move to the city’s urban center by the end of the year.

The 65-lawyer intellectual property boutique last week announced its plans to relocate to the 21st and 22nd floors of 20 Church Street, known more widely as the Stilts Building. Cantor Colburn will increase the square footage of its headquarters from 35,000 sq. ft. in Bloomfield to 50,000 sq. ft. in Hartford.
