To The Editor:

The Connecticut Bar Association Mentoring Task Force is alive and well, as the Law Tribune’s Editorial Board reminded its readers in a recent editorial, "If You Build It, They Will Come – Maybe."

The task force has dozens of young lawyers paired with mentors around the state but, as the editorial notes, there are numerous mentors eagerly waiting to be matched. The program has received high praises from both mentors and mentees, who participated in the early pilot programs. We believe new attorneys can benefit immensely from the availability of a seasoned lawyer acting as his or her mentor. As the editorial suggested, the new admittee should seize this opportunity.

If you or someone you know is interested in learning more about this program, contact centiempo@halloran-sage.com or go to www.ctbar.org and under Sections and Committees, click on the Young Lawyers Section.
