The Appellate Court determined that many of the defendant’s arguments in a foreclosure case were not adequately displayed in the briefs, and the rest of the claims were meritless.

Thomas M. Jakubiec, one of the defendants, was served with a lawsuit on April 16, 2015, which stated that he owed $212,000 on his mortgage. However, two days later, Jakubiec died, and his widow, Robin Jakubiec, became the defendant, court records showed.
