A U.S. District Court judge in Connecticut denied a Kohl's motion for summary judgment in a slip-and-fall case after concluding that a genuine issue of material fact remained regarding whether a defective condition existed, whether Kohl's had constructive notice of this alleged condition, and if the department store failed to respond in a reasonable fashion.
