The New York Supreme Court Appellate Division, First Department on Monday agreed to expedite its hearing of former President Donald Trump’s appeal in the New York Attorney General’s civil investigation of his business practices, announcing that the matter will be scheduled for argument in May.

Trump and two of his children have appealed Manhattan Supreme Court Justice Arthur Engoron’s February ruling, which rejected their motion to quash subpoenas for their testimony from New York Attorney General Letitia James.
