A potential client asked me the other day where my office was. I laughed and said it was in my hand. Virtual practice now allows us to work 24/7 from wherever we can get a signal. That’s a good thing, but not without its problems.

The whole concept of remote work went viral last year, along with another virus whose name will not be spoken. We in lawyer regulation had been dealing with away work for at least 20 years, but the exigencies of social distancing, quarantine and pandemic pushed it to the forefront.
