Calling the testimonies of the victim of a two-vehicle crash, his wife and two children “pretty compelling” plaintiffs counsel Andrew Groher said it was those four testimonies that probably swayed a jury, who rendered a $707,149 verdict for his client Sept. 23.

“I believe the jury accepted the severity of the injuries based on my client’s testimony and that from his doctors and his family. My client and the others gave pretty compelling testimony on how he has been limited due to his back injury,” said Groher, a partner with RisCassi & Davis in Hartford. “He talked about living in fear that he might have back surgery.”
