At least two federal circuit courts have reinstated mask mandates for vaccinated and unvaccinated individuals as cases of the delta variant of COVID-19 continue to surge.

The U.S. Court of Appeals for the Fifth and Eleventh Circuits released the new orders, which come after the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention on Tuesday reversed its previous guidance and announced people should wear masks indoors earlier this week.
