The trial of Officer Derek Chauvin for the murder of George Floyd in Minneapolis calls to mind another infamous case which also riveted the country’s attention—the Sheppard murder trial. There are dramatic differences between the conduct of the Chauvin trial and the notorious Sheppard trial.
