The Neuroscience Centers of Florida Foundation Inc. is a Miami-based nonprofit organization established to improve health care delivery of those affected by Alzheimer’s and Parkinson’s diseases, as well as multiple sclerosis and stroke. Its goal is to transform health care into a patient-centered environment, with one specialized team serving the patient and his or her caretakers.

In 2012, the centers launched the Miami-Dade Stroke Consortium in collaboration with the Fire Officers Association of Miami-Dade. The consortium serves as the hub for data collection and analysis for six fire rescue departments and 16 stroke hospitals in Miami-Dade County. More recently, it opened its first medical clinic in partnership with a federally qualified health center to improve access to quality neurological care for south Florida’s under-served population.
