In recognition of the 40th anniversary of the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, Corporate Counsel discussed the law with Mike Koehler, who founded and edits the popular website FCPAprofessor.com. The FCPA was enacted Dec. 19, 1977, to prohibit companies from paying bribes to foreign officials in exchange for their help in obtaining or retaining business.
