Whittier Law School in Costa Mesa, California, announced Wednesday its plan to shut down. "We believe we have looked at every realistic option to continue a successful law program. Unfortunately, these efforts did not lead to a desired outcome," Alan Lund, Whittier College chairman of the board of trustees, said in a statement. The ABA-accredited Whittier was established in 1966.
