Throughout his time in office, President Barack Obama has prioritized efforts to promote alternative energy and reduce carbon emissions. This week he announced his administration’s latest environmental initiative, a set of new regulations from the Environmental Protection Agency requiring significant reductions in greenhouse gas emissions in the U.S. over the next 15 years.
