The U.S. Postal Service went a bit postal on one of its employees who acted as a whistleblower. David Hendel of Husch Blackwell says that in retaliation against an employee who reported safety violations, USPS managers identified him as a terrorist.

“As a result, the employee was dismissed from his job, arrested, detained, harassed, criminally charged with committing acts of terrorism, and subjected to an extended campaign of public disparagement,” said Hendel. At least, these are the allegations filed by the U.S. Department of Labor against the USPS.
