HP's GC Announces CEO Stepping Down After Sex Harassment Probe

Hewlett-Packard Company‘s general counsel Michael Holston announced late Friday that CEO Mark Hurd is stepping down following a sexual-harassment claim filed against him and the company by a former HP contractor.

The tech company’s board appointed chief financial officer Cathie Lesjak, 51, as CEO on an interim basis.
