In November, chipmaker Nvidia found itself the target of a lawsuit alleging that it was profiting from top-secret research that belonged to the automotive tech firm Valeo.
Valeo says in the suit that it found out about the theft when, during a video call between the two companies, a Nvidia software engineer who’d previously worked at Valeo shared his screen and accidentally displayed source code that his former Valeo colleagues immediately recognized as Valeo’s.
