After an eventful two years, Walt Disney Co. General Counsel Horacio Gutierrez will get a new title and stay on for two more years, the company said in a securities filing last week before the Christmas holiday.
Now titled chief legal officer, Gutierrez was recruited two years ago from Spotify to replace longtime Disney GC Alan Braverman. Gutierrez also serves as chief compliance officer, a role he took on earlier this year after the company parted ways with former executive Alicia Schwarz.
