Brooke Shields is done apologizing. After years of being self-deprecating, of making herself small just to make others comfortable, she said she’s finding confidence and freedom in being herself.

“We’re so programmed to apologize. What being 58 has taught me is that I don’t have to, and I don’t want to apologize anymore,” Shields said. “This is it, and I’m always working on myself, but I don’t want to have that feeling anymore.”
