Amid scrutiny for allegedly making false stolen vehicle reports, rental car company Hertz has hired Colleen Batcheler as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary.
Batcheler will succeed Dave Galainena, who will retire, on May 20. Galainena has served as executive vice president, general counsel and secretary at Hertz for the past three years. He will continue with the company until June 30 to facilitate a transition.
