Two weeks after the departure of senior vice president and general counsel Brian Vandenberg, the American Medical Association has tapped a replacement.

Andra Heller joins the Chicago-based lobbying group from the Watson Health division of IBM. In January, the tech giant announced that San Francisco-based private equity firm Francisco Partners agreed to acquire the core data assets of Watson Health, which IBM launched in 2015 to give health care providers and researchers an artificial intelligence tool with which to analyze health data.
