Cars.com has lured veteran in-house leader Angelique Strong Marks from her general counsel post at an electric vehicle startup to serve as the company’s next top lawyer as its current legal chief heads into retirement. 

Marks is leaving her general counsel role at Israeli EV firm REE Automotive, which she helped go public last year through a merger with a special purpose acquisition company, to join Chicago-based Cars.com.
