Former HP Inc. Chief Legal Officer Kim Rivera has joined OneTrust, a fast-rising maker of privacy-compliance software, as its first chief legal and business affairs officer.

The private company, launched in 2016, has raised $920 million in funding, with the latest round, last October, giving it a valuation of $5.3 billion. OneTrust’s software is designed to help in-house legal leaders manage privacy, risks, data governance and compliance from one platform.
