Natural gas producer Archaea Energy said it is launching a search for a new general counsel after announcing the departure of Lindsay Ellis after less than a year in the role.

Archaea also announced that Chief Financial Officer Eric Javidi is stepping down as well. The exits come on the heels of Pittsburgh-based Rice Acquisition Corp. purchases of Archaea for $347 million and Aria Energy for $680 million last September. The deals were announced in April; the businesses now operate under the Archaea name.
