Since the pandemic began throwing legal curveballs at financial organizations, decision-makers at those companies say they have more appreciation for legal departments and in-house lawyers, according to a survey released Monday.

The survey of 300 senior legal and finance professionals in the finance sector was commissioned by the London-based legal software company Apperio. Roughly a third of the respondents work in the U.S., while the rest are in the U.K.
