Decentralized finance-focused startup Injective Labs has tapped Sullivan & Cromwell associate Brandon Ferrick as its first general counsel, where he will play a lead role in the New York-based company’s effort to shape government regulations amid an uncertain regulatory environment surrounding decentralized markets.

Prior to joining Injective Labs, Ferrick spent two years as an associate at Sullivan & Cromwell, where he focused on advising financial institutions on regulatory and transactional matters. His experience includes digital asset exchanges and token projects, as well as negotiating M&A transactions and venture capital investments.
