Arnold & Porter has expanded in San Francisco with the addition of RYAN CASAMIQUELA as counsel in the firm’s intellectual property group. Previously with Kirkland & Ellis, Casamiquela is a patent litigator.

JEFFREY BOSLEY has moved from Winston & Strawn to Davis Wright Tremaine as a partner. Based in San Francisco, Bosley represents employers in labor relations, collective bargaining and other employment-related issues.

Dinsmore & Shohl has bolstered its public finance practice by acquiring Peck, Shaffer & Williams, a Cincinnati-based bond firm with 35 attorneys. With the merger, Dinsmore—which plans to create a finance department and restructure several practice groups to accommodate the new additions—brings aboard 23 partners, led by Peck Shaffer managing partner DIRK BEDARFF, as well as four of counsel, eight associates and 27 staff members.

The Austin office of Greenberg Traurig has added DANE MCKAUGHAN as a shareholder in the global energy and infrastructure practice. Previously with Austin’s Parsley Coffin Renner, McKaughan represents clients in matters before the Railroad Commission of Texas, the Texas State Office of Administrative Hearings and the Texas Public Utility Commission.

OLEG SABEL has left Hogan Lovells, where he served as counsel, to join Otterbourg in New York. Sabel is a member of his new firm’s real estate group, and will focus on the buying, selling and financing of real estate properties.

Orrick, Herrington & Sutcliffe has hired STEPHEN PHILLIPS as a partner in London and cohead of the firm’s European restructuring team. Phillips, who joins Orrick from White & Case, advises commercial and investment banks, funds, financial advisers and others in connection with restructurings, in-court bankruptcies, distressed investing and special situation lending.

Two patent attorneys from Dorsey & Whitney have joined Polsinelli: TIMOTHY WORRALL and MILAN VINNOLA. Worrall, who joins as a shareholder, and Vinnola, a counselor, help clients to obtain, protect and enforce patents.

Quarles & Brady now counts PAUL LANGER as a partner in Chicago. Formerly with Proskauer Rose, Langer joins his new firm’s commercial litigation practice and insurance coverage litigation team. He practices in the areas of insurance coverage, commercial, product liability and class action litigation.

Stinson Leonard Street has gained KAREN SAMUELS JONES as a partner in Denver. Jones, previously with Perkins Coie, primarily represents clients in the Rocky Mountain region in real estate finance matters. Stinson Leonard has also added SETH ROBBINS as a partner in Washington, D.C. Robbins has construction law and government contracts experience and joins from Seeger, a construction firm.

In San Francisco, ANGEL GARGANTA has lateraled from Arnold & Porter to Venable as a partner. Garganta litigates consumer protection and advertising law cases, including unfair business practice and consumer class actions.
