Judge Rejects Proposed eBay Class Settlement

SAN FRANCISCO – A federal judge on Tuesday rejected a proposed $4.75 million settlement between eBay Inc. and a class of consumers, pointing to several defects including a plan to pay some claims by crediting class members' eBay accounts.
