Sydney boutique firm Webb Henderson has hired the former head of the Australian litigation and competition practices at Baker & McKenzie.

Andrew Christopher, who previously worked in Baker & McKenzie’s Sydney office, primarily acts for multinational companies facing Australian cartel and price-fixing investigations, as well as merger review. Christopher also frequently represents the Australian government on merger clearance matters.
His clients have included British American Tobacco Plc., Singtel Optus Pty. Ltd., Borders Group Inc., Seven Network Ltd., The Swatch Group SA., McDonald’s Corp. and Fujitsu Ltd.
Christopher joined Baker & McKenzie as partner in 1999. Prior to that, he was a partner at Sydney’s Corrs Chambers Westgarth
Webb Henderson has 32 lawyers working across offices in Singapore, London, Sydney and Auckland. He is the ninth partner for the firm.
