Katten Muchin Rosenman is the latest Big Law firm to announce layoffs, confirming in a statement Tuesday that it is “parting ways with a small number of our attorneys and business professionals” due to recent declining demand in some of its offerings, and deferring part of its associate class to Feb. 1.

A Katten spokesperson didn’t immediately confirm the exact number of cuts but confirmed they will affect less than 5% of the firm’s attorneys and staff.
