Two former associates suing Jones Day over its parental leave policy have asserted that issues and appeals practice leader Traci Lovitt is lined up to replace Stephen Brogan as the firm’s managing partner and she took part in the firm’s retaliation against them, the latest salvo in the long-running court battle.

In their third amended complaint, filed earlier this week, plaintiffs Julia Sheketoff and Mark Savignac added Lovitt as a defendant, highlighting her alleged role behind a press release that hit back against the pair after they first sued Jones Day in 2019.
