The Big Law lateral market is firing on all cylinders in the first quarter of 2022, as firms anticipate continued windfall from corporate transactional work and postponed court proceedings come to pass. And recent weeks have seen an several large group moves.

In the last week alone, Fox Rothschild, Troutman Pepper Hamilton SandersDuane Morris and Reed Smith onboarded lateral groups ranging from five to 12 lawyers in areas of commercial litigation, consumer finance, real estate finance and employment and environmental law, showing the demand for corporate and litigation legal services remains robust in 2022.
