Freshfields Bruckhaus Deringer has hired Hogan Lovells’ New York corporate head, in a major push for the firm’s life sciences practice.

Adam H. Golden is joining Freshfields’ New York base and will lead its U.S. life sciences transactions practice, a statement on Tuesday said. He leaves Hogan Lovells after over seven years, according to LinkedIn.

“Adam brings a wealth of experience and skill in critical areas for our life sciences clients,” said Jennifer Bethlehem, partner and global head of Freshfields’ health care practice. “His work lies at the heart of what life sciences companies are doing every day to advance their business strategies, making him a valuable resource for our clients and an important member of our team.”
