Lawyers for former New Mexico Sen. Manny Aragon are attempting to link his indictment with political corruption cases across the country, and they say selective prosecution is behind it. Aragon and four other defendants are accused of bilking the state out of $4.2 million during the construction of the Bernalillo County Metropolitan Courthouse. In a new court filing, Aragon's attorneys are asking for specific discovery regarding the timing and propriety of the indictment.
