Walnut Creek, Calif., plaintiffs attorney Stanley Casper knows high-profile discrimination suits, and he’s getting to know high-volume cases, too.

His five-attorney firm — Casper, Meadows, Schwartz & Cook — once sued the city of Oakland, Calif., over alleged sexual harassment by Jacques Barzaghi, ex-longtime aide to former Oakland mayor (and current California Attorney General) Jerry Brown. That case reportedly settled for $50,000.
