McDermott has now seen a dozen partners leave its London office in just over a year. Just last month, corporate head William Charnley quit to join Mayer Brown's U.K. arm.

Cohen handed in his notice at McDermott earlier this week. McDermott on Thursday confirmed the departure of Cohen, who is still in discussions over an exit date.
