Investors from around the world, lawyers and investigators are searching for a former commodities broker, Joerg Heierle, who they say has vanished with millions in other people's money. Heierle is now facing a civil suit from 11 investors -- their attorney suspects the defendant has fled to Israel, where his father lives. Heierle allegedly operated an illegal commodity pool, using a Web site to lure investors, and then used clients' money for his own personal commodities trading.

Joerg Heierle and his former companies, Eiger Investment Group of Canada, Futures Trading Academy in Miami Beach and 11 Trading of Bloomington, Ill., have been suspended by the National Futures Association.
