The Home Depot Inc. named Jack VanWoerkom executive vice president, general counsel and corporate secretary on Monday, in the latest addition to the struggling home improvement retailer’s new management team.
The appointment of VanWoerkom, who will move to Home Depot on June 25, is the latest in several key management changes. The company is working to regain investor trust after a controversy over former Chief Executive Bob Nardelli’s hefty pay and the company’s poor stock performance led to the CEO’s resignation in January.
