But on Monday, Sheppard Mullin Richter & Hampton added two partners from Steefel Levitt and two associates for its real estate, land use, natural resources and environmental practice. In February, an employment partner and an associate joined from Bingham McCutchen. "We've had a very broad range of practice areas, and we have found that to be helpful in varying economic times," says San Francisco managing partner M. Elizabeth McDaniel.
