The state Supreme Court on Monday gave the solo a second shot at collecting the lodestar fee he thinks is appropriate for his trial work in the case: $51,535.20. The justices remanded the fee application to the trial court, finding the original Superior Court judge didn't explain his reasons for slimming down the requested fees.
