Miami attorney Mark Gold has sued the Florida Bar and Bar ethics counsel Elizabeth Tarbert in federal court, alleging that the Bar engaged in a "witch hunt" and selectively enforced Bar advertising rules against him. Gold, who runs The Ticket Clinic, filed suit last week, just days before a Bar disciplinary trial against him for alleged advertising violations. Gold is not the first attorney to file a federal suit against the Bar over its advertising rules, which are some of the strictest in the country.

Gold, who runs The Ticket Clinic with 10 offices around the state, filed his suit last Friday in Miami, just days before the start of a Bar disciplinary trial against him for alleged advertising violations.
