Last month Raymond Boucher was installed as the new president of the Consumer Attorneys of California. Perhaps best known as the former altar boy who is now lead counsel for almost 300 clergy abuse victims, Boucher is a partner at Kiesel, Boucher & Larson in Los Angeles. The politically active lawyer hopes the organization will take a proactive approach toward thwarting initiatives next year. Boucher also wants to expand the CAOC's 3,000-lawyer membership, especially to attorneys in smaller firms.

Los Angeles attorney Paul Kiesel says colleague Raymond Boucher is like a cloud — ephemeral and always on the move.
“We kid around that when he dies his tombstone is going to say, ‘Where’s Ray?’ Because that’s the question we ask around here two or three times a day,” said Kiesel, who jokes that the “B” is missing in Kiesel, Boucher & Larson’s KBL marquee.
