A federal judge in Newark, N.J., last week ordered a publisher to stop using an unauthorized photograph of a Grammy-nominated singer on the cover of a graphic book — and to recall distributed copies.

The judge found the photo might tempt book buyers to think that R&B singer, writer and producer Marc Dorsey endorsed the work, “Legit Baller,” which focuses on the life and sexual escapades of a convicted crack-cocaine dealer.
