A three-judge panel has ordered the State Commission on Judicial Conduct to dismiss its public admonition of Texas Supreme Court Justice Nathan Hecht for comments he made in support of Harriet Miers’ nomination to the U.S. Supreme Court.
The Special Court of Review, appointed by the state Supreme Court to consider Hecht’s appeal of the commission’s sanction, issued its opinion in In Re: Hecht on Oct. 20.
