West Palm Beach, Fla., law firm Jones Foster Johnston & Stubbs has merged with four-lawyer Berrocal & Wilkins. Jones Foster, which had 31 lawyers, adds two partners, two associates and a Jupiter, Fla., office. "It's an augmentation of our depth," says Scott Hawkins, vice chair of the board at Jones Foster, adding that the new partners -- Carlos Berrocal and Robert Wilkins -- bring expertise and impeccable reputations. The merger also adds an estate-planning practice to Berrocal & Weaver.

West Palm Beach, Fla., law firm Jones Foster Johnston & Stubbs has merged with four-lawyer Berrocal & Wilkins in Jupiter.
The merger, completed Tuesday, is the first for Jones Foster since 1988, when Johnston Randolph & Weaver and Jones & Foster joined. The firm that is the foundation of the current Jones Foster firm started 97 years ago.
